860 houses
According to the Memphis Business Journal, only 860 houses were sold in Shelby County in January of 2008. This represents a 35% decrease in sales in Shelby County year over year. However, that does not mean the market is stagnant, if fact, it is a great oppurtunity to pick up bargains too.
